RM424S — Shielded -Prewired Jackfield

The RM424S Prewired Shielded Jackfield comprises a twenty-four position jack strip assembly and associated cable harness and terminal block. The assembly is designed to mount in a standard EIA rack_ 239A-type telephone jacks are incor- porated and designation strip for circuit identification purposes is provided. FEATURES: Convenient, ready-to-install pre- packaged assembly_ Conventional tip, ring and sleeve wiring practices are followed, with appropriate connections being terminated via high quality telephone-type terminal block_ Balanced, 239A-type jacks with individual shield connections.

A unique swivel bracket assembly enables free access to customer-side wiring for installation and inspection Large designation strip, protected by clear Plexiglass overlay_ Four lengths of cable forms enable four rows of jacks to be positioned verti- cally, and their associated terminal blocks to be arranged from left to right directly behind the jack strips and within a seven inch dimension.

Accesory terminal block mounting brackets and swivel assembly com- ponents facilitate wiring and inspec- tion. Four positions permit high density placement within standard rack: Tip, ring; and sleeve circuits, as well as associated normals, wired to high quality telephone-type terminal blocks_
