Connections and circuit (ideal SPICE model)
Inputs, outputs, power and control as its own documents name them (no RTO-144 sheet for it: pin numbers only where the page gives them). Run the generator, turn the gain, watch the VU.
Pinout & connections
Each contact as its own documents name it: 3 named (3 medium confidence). An empty slot is a contact no page names. Hover a contact for its source; the table under the drawing lists them. A 12-pin connector, named in 1985 - M471C - Stereo Input Module.pdf, p. 35.

M47ic STEREO INPUT MODULE 12) 75 Hz/150 Hz AI-PASS These switches insert 12 dB/octave high Pass filter into both the Teft and righi channel signal paths_ IF both selections are depressed simultaneously the dB culoif frequency shifts to 225 Hertz. 13) SENSiTiViTY The sensitivity sclector switch accommodates an input signal range variation of 20 dB between -10 and +10 dBm . This switch preciscly sets the gain of the left and right channel preamplifier: in dB increments 14) AUXIL IARY The Auxiliary Ievel controls set the level of the audio signals fed t0 the Auxiliary mix buses. These outputs are in Mono. 15) BALANCE This control permits evel balance adjustments to be made Lo the stered output signals fed [0 the mix buses 16) CHANNEL ON This switch selects the left and right input signals t0 the bus outputs of the module. Included is contact closure which is available for mute/control logic functions 3-3

The L2o42 and L3242 series WBS audio consoles including custom des igned series consoles may enhanced for stereo operation with series of retrofit kits These kits provide for the modifi cation series console add stereo input modules stereo equalizers and stereo monitor channels The modifications are des gned implemented on-site instal ation necessary wir ing harnesses by Ioca] stat personnel Opt ionally, installation assistance can provided WBS_ required t Tme travel and subs stance basis The input channel modification consists replacing number mono input channel modules (M470 , M470A , M47OB , M47oc) and the corres ponding mono fader units with stereo input channel modules (M471C) and stereo faders The kit available provides for this modification imp emented into group four input channe time Four eight twe channels could thus revised within sing] console using one two, three the kits second kit permits the replacement the mono channel equa] - izers with simi stereo units again implemented group four channels Multiple kits May also utilized similar manner the input channels Console monitoring covered third kit While it possible use two exsisting mono monitor channe)s tandem for stereo moni toring this pract ice may operat ionally awkward The monitor modif cation consists replacing the three (or four) consoie monitor modules with simi stereo units thus providing stereo ource selection switching and stereo Tevei control Mixing bus structure for the console remains unchanged However operat ionally for stereo console use the subma ter buses are used pairs (1.e.
for LEFT S2 for RIGHT) and similarly the master buses are a]so used in pairs imi for LEFT M2 for RIGHT)

WAAD-BECK SYSTEms LTD GENERAL M4?ic STERFO INPuT MODULE The M471c provides stereopnonic input channel Tacilities Tor the L20l2/L3242 and L20424/1.32424 series audio consales The input source selector allows [wc separate sterco inputs I0 be connectec to each input moaule. Thz Gource selector aulputs feed the aetively balanced preamplifiers Phase Reversal selector lang with 4n LED indicator a/lows the phase 0f the right channel to be reversed with respect Lo the phase oi the leit channel The left and right channel Freampiifiers have stepped and gansed sensitivity control covering 20 dB range in dB steps. This accommocates input signal levels frorri -10 Lo +10 cBrti . Mode selector is provided which gives the operator the ab Tity to: reconfigure the stereo source material al the module output in the following manner Feed the Ieft inpul channel only LO both thc eft and right outputs 2) Combines the left and right outputs into output. Teft plus right mono 3) Provide the normal stereo. 4) Flip thc crder ot the Teft and right inputs (reverse stereo) 5) Feed the right input channel n Iy to both the leit and right uutputs LED Program and Peak Tevel indicator monitors the audio levels 4 [ the prefade insert points of the module. WAAD-BECX Systems LtD GENERAL M47IC STEREO NPUT MODULE The prcamplifier outputs appear at the module connector for the insertion of the ML72A Slereo Equalizer Mucule This optional equal- izer is normally positioned above the input module in the mixing console. Actively balanced insert points are provided for the balanced stereo slide mixing attenuator. The Pretade Listen take off point precedes the Channel On switch points, thus allowing the module sourcc material to be monitored Prior to it being processed by the module The Channel On Swi tch selects the Teft and right input signals to the bus outputs The Solo take off point follows the Channel On and che setting f the inline mixing fader Balance control along with its associated insert switch gives the operator the ability ta balance up Ievel varialions between the Teft and right channel signals being fed to the submaster mixing buses. Direct bus assignment to Master and Master i5 available along with assignment to Submaster to Submaster When console has M47Ic modules installed and is being utilized for Sterea applications it is the intention that odd numbered channels, for example M, 51 and 53, feed the left stereo channels and the even numbered channels, for example M2,52 and 54, feed the right stereo channels The module provides four Auxiliary bus feeds, each with separate level control , assignment switch and pre/post fade selector Auxiliary bus feeds are in mono only DC control and logic muting functions are provided on the input source selector and the Channel On switch [6 facilitate studio mute control functions The M47ic Stereo Input Module is packaged in module_ size of 60" wide 14.15" high 6.50" deep standard WBS The module derives its power from the console system bipolar +/-25 volt and +24 volt power supplies: 2-2
