Connections and circuit (ideal SPICE model)
Inputs, outputs, power and control as its own documents name them (no RTO-144 sheet for it: pin numbers only where the page gives them). Run the generator, turn the gain, watch the VU.
Pinout & connections
Each contact as its own documents name it: 4 named (4 low confidence). An empty slot is a contact no page names. Hover a contact for its source; the table under the drawing lists them.

M463LA SUBMASTER_MQDULE bandpass filter passes only portion the signa delivered from the buffer with the center frequency and bandwidth determined the FRE QUENcy, by "Q" and PEAK/SHELI controls The HIGH FREQUENCY equalization continuously adjustable from 25 kHz and controlled by RI/R2 R2I determines the amount cut BOOST total range from +15 dB provided _ with SWT depressed the unit will produce high frequency SHELVING characteristic When SW11 released both positive negative PEAKING can be obtained The control R3 effective only with SWI the PEAKING mode and covers 0-factor range The MID FREQUENCY equalization adjusted by R4/R5, covering frequency range from 0.4 kHz _ cut/boost controlled by R22 R6 adjusts the 0-factor Positive negative bel |-shaped PEAKING equalization applicable the mid-frequency range.
The Low FREQUENCY equalization operates similarly the high frequency section R7/R8 adjusts the frequency range from 400 Hz . cut BOOST are controlled by R23, by R9 and Sw12 determines tne choice either SHELVING PEAKING characteristics The three signals which leave the 4-126 ter are correction signals" either in-phase 180 degrees out-of-phase with the equalizer input and bandpass limited as determined by the equalizer section and control settings These correction signals are then summed together with the primary (input) signal by the operational amplifiers 21 , 22 and 24 thus forming the equalized output signal This concept adding correction signal together with the incoming signal form the equalized signal directly responsible for the Iow noise and distortion capabilities this unit _ The compound signal appears the output normally open contacts generated along the entire processing chain 24.
From here routed one the the EQUALIZER INSERT switch SW13 _ Thus, with SW13 depressed the equalized signal fed the outpu amplifier 8-109A . addi tion, as SW13 depressed the LED indi- cator activated 2-2

4-126 EQUALIZER FILTER AMPL IFIER The 4-126 equalizer filter amplifier printed circuit board utilized as an internal component certain WBS 460 series equalizer modules. The 4-126 comprises three independent state variable filter networks, designed operate the Low Frequency Mid Frequency and High Frequency bands the audio spectrum respectively Each these three filter sections functions pass shaped portion the audio spectrum thus genera ting correction signal be summed with the primary signal passing through the module.
conjunction with components external the 4-126 and part the main module, possible control the different parameters equalization indepen - dently each other such as frequency boost/cut and Each the three filter networks consists three operational ampli- fiers, one which operates the summing mode, with the two others functioning as integrators the summing amplifier, the outputs the two integrators are mixed with the original filter output signal, the compound output turn being fed back the integrating amplifiers.
Depending upon where the signal inserted set three operationai amplifiers, band-pass Pass characteristics are achieved withdrawn from this high pass, low- With the appropriate external circuitry, the 4-126 can be used generate: BAND-PASS within each BAND REJECTION characteristics the three frequency bands LOW-PASS positive characteristics negative SHELVING HIGH-PASS positive characteristics negative SHELVING 4-126 1-1
