5A14-077 CONTROL ASSEMBL Y The 5A14-077 is an interface control assembly between the St console r icroprocessor based control system and the m520 series of input and submaster modules Channel/Solo_ Latches

Dual Iatch U1 provides the holding or Iatching circuitry to control the solid state program channel and solo SW | tches of the M520 series of modules The Iatch outputs are buffered by transistor drivers Q1 through 04 The Iatch may be controlled by positive toggle voltage applied to P2 pin for the solo and P2 pin for the channel or program circuit. Pulsing these control inputs will result in the Iatches alternately being set and cleared The Iatch UIA and UIB may be directly set or cleared from the control system Via pulses fed through C4 to C7 _ These controlling signals are held by the data bus Iatch u7 _ Data Bus An bit data bus is connected to the input modules, for the purpose of feeding control signals or reading tally information. This data bus connects to the 5A14-077 at P1 pins to 15_ select Iine at P1 pin and read/write control Iine at P1 pin controls the flow of data t0 and from this assembly Tally_Buffers u5 and u6 are tally buffers which feed information from the input rodule pushbutton selectors and sense points onto the data bus upon command from the centra control system Control Latch u7 is control Iatch which feeds control pulses to remotely turn on and off the channel and solo solid state switches upon command from the centrai control system. ?ower_Decoupl ing This assemb ly utilizes low power cMOS circuitry throughout. The M521 Stereo Input Module is capable of sel ecting between [Wo stereo sources The A/B input selector SW1 selects the source when released and the source when depressed_ An A/B sense contact is provided on SWI to feed the status of this selector into the control system _ phase reversa| switch Sw2 allows the phase of the right channel to be reversed in relation to that of the left channel Preamplifiec

: The SA14-075 Preamplifier Subassemb ly contains the left and right channel preamplifier circuitry, sensitivity controls, high pass filters and the stereo mode switch Refer to the SA1L-075 description for complete details_ The output from the preamplifier appears at the equalizer insert points on the module connector At P1 pin 37 for the left channel and P1 pin 39 for the right channel This point is designed for the insertion of the M522A Stereo Equalizer . The return feeds from the equalizer appears at P1 pin 38 and P1 pin 40 _ Channel Amplifiers The equalizer insert returns connect to the 5A14-076 Channel Ampli - fier Subassembly This unit contains the left and right channel solid state Sw i tches, the output amplifier and the fader booster amplifiers The balanced insertion points which connect to the inline stereo slide mixing attenuator and provisionally to insertion jacks appear at P2 pins and 5 , for the left channel and P2 pins 2, and 6 for the right channel _ Control for the solid state channel SA14-077 Logic Control Subassembly switch is derived from the 4." . ` 4
